What each activity measures

Every activity produces evidence. This plan is organized by the grant's four activities — the data each one generates, where it comes from, how often, and the objectives it informs. All collection complies with FERPA; student-level data is aggregated for reporting.

Empowerment initiative — student support

Data collected
  • Scholarships awarded and recipient profiles
  • Enrollment of African American and low-income STEM students
  • Research & apprenticeship participation
  • Advising and student-services usage
  • Certification & licensure exam completions
  • Symposium and conference attendance

Years 1–2 · 2023–2025
Establish baselines and begin tracking enrollment, scholarships, participation, facilities, and faculty output.
Years 3–4 · 2025–2027
Add employment-outcome tracking and faculty research mini-grant data; complete the STEM Education Center.
Years 5–6 · 2027–2029
Longitudinal graduation and employment analysis, sustainability planning, and the final program evaluation.
