Thank you for your interest in the HBCU-MD2 STEM Scholarship. Unfortunately, you do not meet the eligibility requirements for this scholarship program at this time.
If not a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident: U.S. citizenship or residency is a required eligibility criterion for this scholarship program as it is funded by the U.S. Department of Education.
If in loan default: Federal regulations prohibit individuals in default on federal student loans from receiving federally funded scholarships. You must resolve your loan default status before becoming eligible for this program. We encourage you to explore other scholarship opportunities that may be available to you through our Office of Financial Aid.
If conditionally admitted: Students who are conditionally admitted to their degree program are not eligible for this scholarship. You must be fully admitted to a STEM MAT, MEd, MBA, or MSN degree program to qualify.
If GPA is below 3.5: This scholarship requires applicants to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. You may reapply once your cumulative GPA meets this requirement.
If not enrolled for at least one semester: Applicants must be currently enrolled for at least one semester in a STEM MAT, MEd, MBA, or MSN degree program to be eligible for this scholarship.

Please list the name, email address and phone number of two (2) persons who will submit a recommendation form on your behalf. The recommendation forms should be completed by a current/former professor, advisor, employer, supervisor, etc., qualified to evaluate your academic ability, professional qualifications, potential for success in research and graduate study in the STEM areas (Science Education, Mathematics Education, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Healthcare Management, Digital Enterprise and Cloud Management, or Nursing) and initiative.
